Editorial portraits with a hint of octane · East Tennessee based

I make portraits. I ride motorcycles. I photograph both — and the people who live at that intersection of machines and motion. I’m drawn to the kind of light you find on back roads: late afternoon, long shadows.

My personal work lives at the edge of editorial and automotive culture. Whether it’s a portrait session in a garage, a supercar in a mountain pass, or a rider at golden hour on an Appalachian two-lane — I’m looking for the frame that feels like a magazine spread and smells like exhaust.

My wife, Kim, and I also shoot senior and family sessions together under @jimmyandkimphoto. Two different worlds, same eye for light.
